2019 Annual Campaign
This year’s Annual Campaign will benefit the Child Life and Creative Arts program at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to fund therapeutic play which helps children cope
positively with the stress and uncertainty of illness, injury and treatment.
These services are an integral part of the hospital’s family-centered,
multidisciplinary care approach.
Together, we can help heal children through art,
compassion and play by supporting the following programs:
- Creative Arts Therapy: Mental health professionals use art directives to support patients as they explore thoughts and feelings associated with illness.
- Sophie’s Place Broadcast Studio: Patients can experience periods of isolation when they are not able to interact with others. This program allows patients to interact from their hospital room or in-studio with a program that is being broadcast.
- Pet Assisted Therapy: Through this program, pets are brought to the hospital three times a month to visit patients and provide a calming experience which helps with coping and healing.

Despite the joy and healing powers of these programs, they are not reimbursed by insurance; instead, they are funded by the generosity of donors like you. Please join us in supporting this worthy cause by donating today.
